Digital book for young children
Looking for something to share with young children in response to the COVID-19 crisis? Tikun Olam Gogos has partnered with Jamileh Salek, an Iranian-Canadian visual artist and illustrator who has created a digital book, A Teeny Tiny Virus.
This digital book is intended to help families and young children deal with the COVID-19 crisis. The book teaches children and families how to remain positive, creative and helpful, and it reminds them of the value and beauty of their lives. It is suitable for children 3 years and older and for early readers.
Price: $8.99. Jamileh has generously offered to donate 80% of sales revenues to the Grandmothers Campaign, Stephen Lewis Foundation.
Funds raised by Tikun Olam Gogos are donated to the Grandmothers Campaign, Stephen Lewis Foundation in support of grandmothers in Africa caring for children orphaned by AIDS. These funds help the grandmothers to access: children’s school fees & uniforms, adequate housing, grief & trauma counseling, home-based care, HIV/AIDS protection training, and micro-credit loans for small business.
