Get ready for 50 or 100 km!
Saturdays from May 23, 9 am (end times will vary); Wednesdays from May 27, 6:30-7:30 pm
New Westminster Arena, Queen’s Park, New Westminster, BC
Go from 0 – 100 km in this cycle training program, with the expert guidance of Sherry and Don Baker. This will prepare you for the Solidarity Cycle ride on Sun., Sept. 13, hosted by five grandmothers groups.
Start training on May 23 or 27 and be ready for 50 or 100 km on Sept. 13th.
Join Sherry and Don Baker, expert cyclists, for cycle training rides on bike paths throughout the Lower Mainland, gradually increasing strength and stamina to ride 100 km by the end of the summer.
- Choose your level – beginner or intermediate (able to cycle for 1 hour).
- Ride on local bike paths.
- Learn safety and maintenance tips.
- Build your strength, stamina and speed.
- Have fun!

Funds raised by Royal City Gogos go to support African grandmothers via the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, Stephen Lewis Foundation. These funds provide assistance to African grandmothers with children’s school fees & uniforms, adequate housing, grief & trauma counseling, home-based care, HIV/AIDS protection training, and micro-credit loans for small business.
