Solidarity Quilt is in town!

This Saturday, please join our Greater Van Gogos as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Stephen Lewis Foundation with a gala showing of the Solidarity Quilt created by over 300 African and Canadian grandmothers. We are so excited to display this incredible symbol of the solidarity between us and our African sisters!

We invite you to check out the craft market, too, where ten of our grandmothers groups will be selling their unique creations. Entertainment and refreshments will also be available at this event.

For the inspiring story, background, photos and details of the quilt, visit the Grandmothers Campaign website’s 20th Anniversary Solidarity Quilt page.
